An All Alaska Performance

On October 24, 2015, I performed in Animalia, A Wearable Arts Show in Homer, Alaska. When the director, Asia Freeman, invited me to participate, I said, “I’m a storyteller, not a designer.” I found a Raven creation tale that offered a perfect finale. As I worked on the story, I found different versions, so I created my own. The mask, by artist Desiree Hagen, was an added touch.
