I found this video searching for information about Buddhism in Africa. It tells the story, not only of a Buddhist retreat center, but also of a little African girl and her life. It’s 30 minutes long but well worth the watch when you have time.

Alaska white sun blazes cloudless blue sky. Water ripples like textured glass. Waves lap lightly to shore. Stream tinkles through ice over rocks. Couples stroll laugh. Groups jump, stumble. Dogs run and stare. Towards sun a lover’s gentle touch on face. Turn around quiet wind slaps like blowing ice.
