January Haiku
A Walk on the Beach
Cool sun shines brightly
warm winter Alaska day
hear low tide waves sing
Yesterday, January 25, 2014 was 50 degrees in Homer, Alaska. A perfect day for an exhilarating, refreshing walk and photo shoot on Bishop Beach. Of course many people were out enjoying the beautiful day.
And how’s the weather in your neck of the woods?
What a stunningly beautiful part of the world you live in. That pink sunlight on the soaring snow capped mountains is a haiku in itself. Love your words and images 🙂
Yes, it is beautiful here and what is wonderful is I just have to put on my coat and boots and walk across the street and am on the beach in five minutes – and I can see that view any time it’s day light from my living room window. It’s a blessing.
How lovely to be so close. I have to drive to the beach from here. Those mountains that you can see from your beach are really spectacular
Ahh that looks so perfect. I would love walking along a beach enjoying a cool breeze. Especially early in the morning. Reminds me of when I had my dear dog and we had the longest walks every day.
Wet, wet, and wet, again!
