Free Write Friday – Two Prompts
It’s still Friday here in Alaska, so I am responding to kellie elmore’s two prompts. The first is for her nephew Khole who was recently born with heart problems. The second is to a photo prompt. Enjoy.
Khole
A child of wonder
a child of joy
special boy
to this world a light
making darkness bright
traveling life’s spacious sea
mountain heights his destiny
The universe he found was not expected. Beings of grace and light floated around him. He felt his body flowing through the water as if he was a cloud in the sky. His breath was free and easy as he glided through wonders. No one spoke but he felt touched with joy, wonder, and a warmth of love that embraced him so totally he felt renewed and boundless.
