You are right but I find it hard to practice that aspect of Buddhism sometimes – celebrating life feels more natural to me.
I too love being alive but this project does keep my mind on the Buddhist teachings that all that is material is an ephemeral illusion – one we can enjoy indeed celebrate, but it doesn’t last.
Death, yes, is the best sermoner. That’s why we were ordered by God to visit the tombs.
